Project Overview
Madurai House
At Madurai House, we were thrilled to work with our client, who had a unique vision for their traditional-style house on their 4-acre organic farm in Madurai. Our client wanted a small, budget-friendly house that would meet their specific requirements while reflecting their love for traditional architecture and design.
We designed a 1000 sq. feet house using traditional la frired bricks with a binding method, which added an authentic touch to the house while also keeping the costs low. The entrance of the house was designed with a veranda (thazhvaram) featuring wooden pillars and terracotta tiles, which added character and charm to the house.
One of the main priorities for our client was to have plenty of natural light in the house. To meet this requirement, we designed the house with larger windows, which allowed for natural light to enter the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
At Madurai House, we understand the importance of working within a budget. We worked closely with our client to find cost-effective solutions without compromising on the quality or style of the house. We paid close attention to every detail to ensure that the house was not only functional but also beautiful and reflective of our client’s vision.
Overall, Madurai House is a stunning traditional-style house that showcases the beauty of traditional architecture while meeting our client’s specific requirements. The use of la frired bricks, wooden pillars, and terracotta tiles, along with the larger windows, creates a unique and inviting space that our client will enjoy for years to come.
